Facebook Reels are short-form vertical videos (up to 90 seconds) similar to TikTok and Instagram Reels, packed with entertainment, tutorials, news clips, and viral content. Our Facebook Reel Saver lets you download any public Facebook Reel in the highest available quality — directly to your phone or computer.
What are Facebook Reels?
Facebook launched Reels in 2021 as a direct answer to TikTok's explosive growth. Today, Reels have billions of daily views and are prominently featured in the Facebook Feed, Watch tab, and on public Pages and profiles. They are short vertical videos in 9:16 format, typically 15–90 seconds long, and are shared widely across the platform.

- HD MP4 (1080p) — Full resolution vertical video, best for viewing and sharing
- SD MP4 — Smaller file size, suitable for limited storage
Why does Facebook not let you save Reels natively?
Facebook has a built-in "Save" feature that bookmarks Reels inside the app — but this only works within Facebook and requires you to be logged in to view the saved content. It does not download the video file to your device. Our tool downloads the actual MP4 file so you can watch it anywhere, share it via WhatsApp, email, or AirDrop, and keep it permanently even if the original post is deleted.
Troubleshooting
*"No video found" error:* The Reel may be from a private profile or a friends-only post. Our tool only works with publicly visible Reels.
*Link redirects to Facebook login:* This means the content is not public. Only public Reels (viewable without a Facebook account) can be saved.
*Video plays but has no sound:* Rare — try re-copying the link from the Facebook app and pasting it again.
*Download not starting on iPhone:* Make sure you're using Safari (not Chrome) on iOS. Chrome on iPhone does not support direct file downloads.
Content guidelines
Our Facebook Reel Saver is intended for personal offline use only. Facebook Reels belong to their creators. Always respect intellectual property rights — do not republish or monetize saved content without the creator's explicit permission.
