Instagram Highlights are permanently pinned collections of Stories on a profile page. Unlike regular Stories that disappear after 24 hours, Highlights are available indefinitely — which means you can save them at any time.
What Are Instagram Highlights?
Highlights are curated Story collections that appear as circles below the profile bio. Creators use them to organize their best Stories by topic (Travel, Food, Fitness, etc.). Each Highlight can contain multiple videos and photos.
How Highlights Differ from Stories
- Stories: Visible for 24 hours, then gone from public view
- Highlights: Permanently visible on the profile (until the creator removes them)
- Both: Can be saved using indirici.net with the right URL
Step 1: Get the Instagram Highlight URL on iPhone
Open Instagram and navigate to the profile with the Highlights you want to save. Tap on a Highlight circle to open it.
- Tap the three-dot menu (···) at the bottom of the screen
- Tap "Copy link"
Instagram Highlight URLs look like: https://www.instagram.com/stories/highlights/12345678/
Step 2: Open indirici.net in Safari
Open Safari on your iPhone and navigate to our Instagram Story Saver — it handles both Stories and Highlights.
Step 3: Paste and Process
Tap and hold in the input field, then tap "Paste." Tap Save.
Our tool processes the Highlight and shows the available media — the individual Highlight slides as video (MP4) or photo (JPEG) files.
Step 4: Download and Save to Camera Roll
Tap "Save" for each slide you want to save. Files download to your Files app.
To move to Camera Roll: 1. Open Files app → Browse → Downloads 2. Long-press the file → Share → Save Video (for videos) or Save Image (for photos)
Can I Save an Entire Highlight at Once?
Each slide in a Highlight must be saved individually. A typical Highlight might have 5-15 slides. For large Highlights, we recommend: 1. Open the Highlight and swipe through to identify which slides you want 2. Get the URL of the specific slide using the share menu 3. Save each one you need
What If the Highlight Has Expired or Is Private?
If the original creator made their account private after the Highlight was posted, our tool cannot access it. If the Highlight has been deleted by the creator, it's no longer accessible to anyone.
Video vs. Photo Highlights
- Video slides — Saved as MP4 (up to 15 seconds each)
- Photo slides — Saved as JPEG
- Boomerangs — Saved as short looping MP4
Conclusion
Saving Instagram Highlights to your iPhone Camera Roll in 2026 is the same process as saving Stories. Copy the Highlight link from Instagram, paste into indirici.net in Safari, download each slide, and save from Files to Camera Roll. Since Highlights are permanent, there's no time pressure — save them whenever you want.
